Digital Citizenship

By participating in the Trubyville wiki we are learning about how to be safe, responsible, and productive citizens of our digital world. If you would like to read more about Digital Citizenship click here. When we learn new things about being a Digital Citizen we will post them here. At the bottom of this page, there is a list some people add to and it is a list of stuff we do to stay safe on the internet, or on this wiki, on wikis.

WOW!

You all have added a lot of very good things to remember about being a Digital Citizen. Thank you members of Trubyville!

Dr. Mike Ribble, a K-State graduate, has developed a plan for Digital Citizenship. Dr. Ribble separates the rights and responsisbilities of every digital citizen into nine themes. I wonder if we can start categorizing what we're learning under these nine themes. I am going to add the nine themes below with links to detailed descriptions of each theme. Let's see if we can place the things we've learned under the theme that they best fit. Copy and paste the items under the theme that you think they best belong. If you think something might fit into two themes, copy and paste it under both theme headings and post a question to the discussion so that we can talk about it. As you add new ideas to this page, please try and write them under the theme that you think they belong.
